Hawaii Job Corps Center is located in beautiful Waimanalo, Hawaii, on the eastern side of O’ahu just a few block from Waimanalo Bay State Recreation Park. The 8-acre, beautifully landscaped campus is home to strong diversity and community service programs.
The Hawaii Job Corps Center is located on the former Bellows Air Force Station, an important airfield during World War II that was initially established in 1917 as the Waimanalo Military Reservation. Job Corps moved to that site in September of 1995. Prior to that, the Hawaii Center had been located at Koko Head since 1965.
Our campus' residential living facilities can house 124 male students and 86 female students in two dorms. Residential students live with three roommates and enjoy the following amenities:
- laundry facilities
- computer labs
- TV lounges
- vending machines
- bathrooms & showers
We also serve non-residential students.
Students stay in separate male and female dormitories. There are four students in each dorm room. Your room will be assigned to you upon arrival at the center.
Job Corps values diversity and will provide you with opportunities to live and interact with people of many different backgrounds.
