The Exeter Job Corps Center is located in Exeter, Rhode Island, just a short drive from Providence and within 5 miles of the University of Rhode Island. The center sits on 23 acres on the old Ladd School site and is within walking distance of the Rhode Island Public Transit system. The center serves residential and non-residential students.
The Exeter Job Corps Center site was a state institution called the Ladd School from 1908-1993. After it closed, the grounds were unused for over a decade until the site was renovated and reopened as the Exeter Job Corps Center.
Our campus' residential living facilities can house 100 male students and 85 female students in dorms. Each room has a private bathroom. Residential students live with up to three roommates and enjoy the following amenities:
- laundry facilities
- computer labs
- TV lounges
- vending machines
We also serve nonresidential students.
There are up to four students to each room. Your room will be assigned to you upon arrival at the center.
Job Corps values diversity and will provide you with opportunities to live and interact with people of many different backgrounds.
