Responsible for cultivating the landscaping and grounds surrounding private and public facilities and residences. This can including mowing the lawn either by hand or using a riding lawnmower, trimming and edging around walkways, flower beds, and walls, or by beautifying the land by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes.

Students in Landscaping are trained in the following subject areas:
- Planting and maintaining ornamental plants, trees, and shrubs
- Maintaining grounds of property using hand or power tools and equipment
- Operating vehicles and powered equipment including mowers, tractors, and twin-axle vehicles
- Determining the most effective pesticides to use based on soil and pest types
- Properly diagnosing diseases in plants and treating those accordingly
Requirements
Before entering the program, students must:
- Complete the core curriculum with passing scores on all written and performance tests.
- Meet basic academic requirements in math and reading.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
