Tucked away in the Nebraska National Forest, the Pine Ridge Job Corps Center is located next to Chadron State Park in western Nebraska, just a short drive from Chadron State College. The residential-only center sits on a 32-acre campus.
The Pine Ridge Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center has been changing lives since 1965. Prior to that, it was a Depression-era Civilian Conservation Corps camp established in the 1930s.
Our campus' residential living facilities can house 168 male students in three dorms and 56 female students in one dorm. Two honor dorms are available to students who qualify. Residential students live with four roommates and enjoy the following amenities:
- laundry facilities
- TV lounges
- computer labs
- vending machines
- bathrooms and showers
There is also an on-site independent living adviser to help make dorm life safe, clean, and productive for the students.
Students stay in separate male and female dormitories. There are up to four students to each dorm room. Your room will be assigned to you upon arrival at the center.
Job Corps values diversity and will provide you with opportunities to live and interact with people of many different backgrounds.
