Do what you have to do to be successful. I'm on the first step and don't plan on stopping.

Michael Coyle, age 24 from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, arrived at Charleston Job Corps Center in May 2013 with his high school diploma. At our center, he completed the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) trade under the instruction of Mr. Martin Easly. Michael will attend the advanced training Pittsburgh Weatherization Program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After completing the advanced training, Michael plans to further his education in the field of law while working in his technical field of expertise.

Michael has been in "Gold Phase" which is a center-wide recognition for attendance and positive behavior on center. He has also participated in community service events such as the United Way Day of Caring 2014 and plans to continue to give back to his community in the future.

Michael's words of wisdom to current and future Job Corps students are: "Do what you have to do to be successful. I'm on the first step and don't plan on stopping."
