Former student Craig Williams, from Norfolk, Virginia, took the time out of his busy truck route to visit former instructors at the Muhlenberg Job Corps Center. Williams was enrolled in the program from June 2013 until February 2014 and successfully completed the Heavy Equipment Operator and Heavy Truck Driving (CDL-Class B) courses. He not only came to the Center to visit the instructors but to also proudly show off his truck to the students currently in training. Williams is leasing his truck and driving for Prime Trucking, Inc. By leasing his truck, it sent a huge message to the current students of how Williams is learning how to run his own trucking business by being reliable for all of the truck expenses.

Job Corps works by providing disadvantaged youth with the social, academic and vocational skill training they need to be successful in their chosen career. Year in and year out, for the past 50 years, the Job Corps program has been a beacon of hope and opportunity for over 2.7 million young people. Students gain the skills and credentials employers need and that helps them succeed.
