The Woodstock Job Corps Center is located in Woodstock outside of Randallstown, Maryland. Woodstock sits on 64 acres near Patapsco Valley State Park. The site was originally a Jesuit monastery, and today retains much of its historic past.
Woodstock Job Corps Center was originally built as a Jesuit monastery, and today retains much of its historic charm. Many of the buildings' cornerstones retain the marks of Woodstock College located here in the early to mid-1800s. The grounds and buildings were sold to the State of Maryland on July 30, 1971. The state planned to rehab the buildings before using them for the Job Corps program.
The Jesuits retained ownership of the Cemetery and Mortuary Chapel, which greets visitors upon arrival to our center. We continue our relationship with the Jesuits, collaborating to maintain the cemetery grounds with our landscaping students.
Our campus' residential living facilities can house 295 male students in three dorms and 145 female students in two dorms. Residential students live with up to three roommates and enjoy the following amenities:
- laundry facilities
- computer labs
- TV lounges
- vending machines
- bathrooms and showers
Independent living advisers are on-site to help make dorm life safe, clean, and productive for students. We also serve nonresidential students.
Students stay in separate male and female dormitories. There are up to four students in each dorm room. Your room will be assigned to you upon arrival at the center.
Job Corps values diversity and will provide you with opportunities to live and interact with people of many different backgrounds.
