Harpers Ferry Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center is located in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, just a short drive from Harpers Ferry Historical Park on a 200-acre campus.
The Harpers Ferry Job Corps Center opened in 1966 after months of community debate about the most suitable site for the center. After sites in Bolivar Heights and in the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park were rejected, an agreement was reached to build the center where it is today.
Our campus' residential living facilities can house 156 male students in three dorms and 54 female students in one dorm. Residential students live with three roommates and enjoy the following amenities:
- laundry facilities
- a library
- TV lounges
- computer labs
- vending machines
- bathrooms and showers
Independent living advisers are on-site to help make dorm life safe, clean, and productive for students.
Students stay in separate male and female dormitories. There are eight students to each dorm room. Your room will be assigned to you upon arrival at the center.
Job Corps values diversity and will provide you with opportunities to live and interact with people of many different backgrounds.
