The Cascades Job Corps College and Career Academy is a smoke-free and drug-free environment located on a 41-acre campus in beautiful Sedro-Woolley, Washington, in the foothills of the Cascade Range, approximately 70 miles north of Seattle.
Before it was the Cascades Job Corps Center, the site in Sedro-Woolley was The Northern State Hospital, a self-sufficient facility with several production buildings, including a 700-acre farm. It was established in 1909 and shut down in 1973 to be turned into a recreation area by the county.
Our campus' residential living facilities can house up to 510 male and female students in dorms. Residential students live with roommates and enjoy the following amenities:
- laundry facilities
- TV lounges
- wireless internet
Students stay in separate male and female dormitories. Your room will be assigned to you upon arrival at the center.
Job Corps values diversity and will provide you with opportunities to live and interact with people of many different backgrounds.
